I joined Ginger Fitness after seeing friends on Facebook constantly smashing goals and honestly looking the best they ever had. I was 6 months postpartum and was fed up with how I looked and in turn how that made me feel. Honestly when I signed up 5 months ago I thought ‘might as well give it a go’ and even in the back of my mind wasn’t convinced I would hit any targets. Oh was I wrong?! I have lost almost 3 stone, more than I originally even aimed for, however one thing this group has taught me is that with the right support and being surrounded by the most inspiring people allows you to reach any goal. Ginger Fitness is now part of my life, it has made me feel good again and I know that if I’m having ‘one of those days’ a class or a conversation with now some of my, now, best mates will help. This isn't just about losing weight, it is about being part of a bigger community of amazing woman who push each other on every single day. I have nothing but love for Sophie & her team, if you’re reading this then get signed up you won’t regret it.

Joining Ginger Girls food and fitness has honestly changed my whole mindset to food and exercise. I no longer use the word diet, this has been a change if lifestyle and I love it. Meeting Sophie and speaking to her for the first time really put me at ease and all the support I've had off Soph, Nikita and Aaron has been unreal. The girls I've met along the way have been amazing and have become good friends. Il he forever grateful for them all.

Joined Ginger girls food and fitness after seeing one of my friends from secondary school have success on the plan. As someone who has been overweight all my adult life I knew I needed a change. The early days pushed me out of my comfort zone but Sophie and Emma were there every step of the way. Within my group I have made friends for life. In 4 months I’ve lost over 3 stone and I am still on my journey with the support of my girls!

I joined the group in September after seeing how successful a friend of mine had been. I remember thinking, god I hope its not something stupid like Keto or Cabbage soup, when she told me what was involved I was gob smacked, I signed up and have never looked back. I think for me what I've learned is that you can eat - you don't need to starve yourself, you can eat! Exercise doesn't need to mean pain, it could also just be something as simple as getting 10-12k steps in everyday. Its about building good habits and having a positive attitude, and when you're 5 stone over weight, believe me sometimes you think whats the point, I've got so far to go, but Sophie and the girls in my team were as encouraging to me at my heaviest as they are now, and as they are to someone else who has lost even more.
I would recommended this plan to many people because I know, if they follow the plan, they will see results. I love the "No nonsense" approach.
I was a member of other weight loss groups for over 10 years and left 1.5 stone heavier than when I joined, what I have learned at Ginger Fitness is so much different.

I joined Gingers Food and Fitness back in Jan 20... more just for fun and lock down boredom, but it soon turned into more than that! When the accountability groups were introduced in June I couldn't wait. I knew I could do this with the support of Sophie and the group! The classes are so much fun, I never was a class goer until these... now I get FOMO if I can't attend. Sophie, Nikita and Aaron all put on such a varied amount of classes that are all fun and enjoyable as much as hard work and sweaty! I have lost nearly 2 stone but the best bit is that you are not forgotten about at that point and left on your own, you are shown how to maintain. I've never hot to this weight and never been able to maintain... I'm 43 and the fittest and healthiest I've been in my life... I could not have done thus without the support and knowledge of this dream team.. thank you

I joined this group in June 21 after it was recommended to me by my cousin. Primarily I joined just for the exercise classes. The 1st class I attended I remember being asked by Sophie if I’d enjoyed it, which I did even though my face told a different story. But it wasn’t easy, in fact I struggled at first as I was overweight and unfit so I only went twice a week. As a 53 year old, my body had reached that moment in a woman’s life when menopause hits and my weight had crept up on me. Unfortunately I was then diagnosed with Breast Cancer and told I had to take medication for 5 years. I just got bigger and heavier, at 13st 8 I started to get depressed and my anxiety went through the roof. It was at that point I decided Cancer wasn’t going to define me. So I asked Sophie about the accountability groups too. I had tried every other diet you could think of, I didn’t think for 1 minute that it would work. how wrong I was. The amazing thing about this group is you don’t have to starve yourself, you still eat 3 meals a day. You’re just changing your relationship with food and getting yourself out of bad habits. The support you get 24/7 is awesome so you are never doing this on your own, you are with like minded people with the same goal. I have now lost over 3 stone and pushing for my 4th. I exercise at least 5 times a week, I’ve also found a passion for running with the groups run club. Exercise doesn’t have to be tedious at all, because of the amazing community that has been built, along with friendships, it is actually fun. So if you’re thinking of trying to lose weight then why not join us?? You will never look back, I certainly haven’t.

This process isn't just another fad diet. Its a journey for yourself to find you through exercise and learning how to eat right. This past year i have realised my journey might be slow and I'm still on the road to where i want to be. But whats different about this group is the community support and help you get from the amazing pts and the friends you make along the way. I am forever grateful to Sophie, Aaron and Nikita for all there hard work and support.

Joining an accountability group was so far out of my comfort zone and sharing personal information like my weight was unthinkable but I had reached a crossroads and needed a fresh approach. When I joined in September I couldn’t have imagined I’d be 38 pounds lighter by the end of December and feeling unbelievable, with the support of your team and an unbelievable team leader in Gemma I can see my goal in sight . What Sophie and Aaron have created is something special , the support and guidance is first class and they really know what they are talking about and have the qualifications to back it up. I couldn’t urge anyone enough to get involved in this programme, once you’re in it’s like a family and if you work hard you get amazing results.

I used to endlessly workout and run, but without a well balanced diet and nutritional help, my weight never changed. I had accepted that this was me, but with a small frame was constantly unhappy and frumpy. I’ve always been the ‘fat one’ even at aged 10, I can remember being told at brownies that I was overweight for my age! Food was a comfort and a way of dealing with life! After seeing a photo of me taken at an outdoor class… one were I wasn’t in control or hiding being a filter and I looked awful…I messaged Sophie and said I need help!!!! In the first week I lost 9lb, showing how much of a high calorie diet my previous trainer had given me! In total in 6 months I have lost 38lb and been in 4 different stone brackets! This is with the support of an accountability group and exercise 5 times a week. This isn’t just a diet plan, it’s a way of life, a group of like minded, incredible people who are now friends for life! I’m proud to be a part of this team, and now to use my knowledge to help and support other women to get their body confidence back, like Sophie helped me

With a poor record of stop/start diets, I needed something sustainable. After just one week, I dropped 8lb which just shows how much rubbish I used to eat and how I had it all wrong. I needed rewiring, and a better understanding of calories and what my body responded to. Before Accountability, I would binge after work from exhaustion and struggled to find time for me (never mind fitness). With Sophie’s help this all changed… After 16 weeks of a clean diet, minimum of 10,000 steps a day, 3 litres of water a day, and 3 sessions of exercise, a week in, I reached my goal weight. I was 36lb down!!! I had a fitter body, better skin, more energy, a healthier diet, and a fantastic supportive group to lean on. I’ve made friendships that have changed my life, and I’m a much happier person, who understands more now that a happier me is a happier mum/wife. Sophie and the ladies I’ve met have transformed my life for the better and I cannot thank them enough. Cannot wait to be fit at forty!

I joined this group because I needed to find a way to get a bit of confidence and motivation back so I could get back into exercise, after an accident put me out of action for a year . I can honestly say, I have never looked back . A couple of weeks into doing the fitness classes, an opportunity came up for me to join Aaron's 6 week shred, and although the thought of sending pictures of myself looking overweight haunted me, I bit the bullet and did it. Second best thing I did . At the end of that 6 weeks, I was 20 whole pounds down and feeling, and looking the best I had in a long time . When Sophie started the run club up, that was the icing on the cake for me. I've always loved the freedom of running, and getting out for a run, a couple of times a week with other like minded people gave me my confidence back. I even ran a random marathon 3 months after I started running again with them. Everyone at gingers is just so nice and welcoming . I have met a few special friends for life who, without this group, our paths may never have crossed . I cannot recommend this group enough. As the saying goes, (if you are like me), I've tried the rest, now try the best...

I joined Ginger Girls during lockdown as a way of keeping fit and sane. When i joined i never realised how much it would change my life but also how important this group would become to me.
After doing classes I gave the shred and then accountability groups a go. The lockdown had a real negative affect on my waistline. I hoped to lose a little bit of weight, but the program did a lot more then that, i lost over 3 stone and dropped 3 dress sizes!
The diet didn't really feel like a diet, but more of a lifestyle change. By eating 'clean' and exercising more I was able to transform my body into something I could look at in the mirror again, and I actually liked what I aw.
This group has been so supportive, and they have celebrated all of my achievements, my biggest being, that at the age of 60, I am now the fittest and healthiest I have been in decades.
I am proud to say I am now a team leader and helping others transform their lives. I can't recommend this group enough. If your serious about your health and want to make a change, this is the group for you...

I’ve struggled with my weight my entire adult life, I’d tried various different diets, occasionally joined a gym and attempted to run a few times over the years but nothing stuck and nothing worked! Things really spiralled when one of my children was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I think everyone struggles in life from time to time, living my life became exceptionally tough. Watching someone you love struggle and deteriorate when you have literally nothing you can do is tough ( to put it mildly) I comfort ate and reached for the wine at the end of most days. I didn’t like going out or socialising. I didn’t like or care about me anymore at all…… this was wrong and I now realise that actually sorting myself out was the best thing I could do. I’m stronger mentally and physically which benefits both me and my family. In just 5 months I’ve lost over 3 stone, dropped 4 dress sizes, lost over 60 inches from various areas of my body, my BMI is now in a healthy range and I sleep without wine! I can run and do so several times a week as well as attend classes I’d not really set myself a final target or goal as back in August when I decided to give this a go I didn’t think anything was achievable but bit by bit I’ve done it! So I’m going to keep chipping away and see what happens! I’m happier, healthier, fitter and just coping with life a whole lot better right now. The groups Sophie Lowe has created are like no other, it’s so much more then a diet! I put off joining for so long because I didn’t want someone telling me what to do or an army of women to report too…… I was wrong, that army support me every step, they make it fun, are becoming friends and my biggest cheerleaders as I hit every little next step!
